The active Multi Mode optical cable is used for direct connection of two SFP+ ports with a link speed of 10 Gbps. This ultra-thin (3mm) optical cable is 20 m long but is also available in other variants. The cable is ideal for creating connections between switches or routers that provide 10 Gbps.
